Dear Hockey Friends, National Organisers,

Thank you for confirming your registrations for this Tournament. We are delighted by the response with some teams already entered for the National and non-National competitions.

We are extremely grateful to the Royal Beerschot T.H.C. for agreeing to host this event.

Please have a look to their site www.beerschot.org to have an idea of the superb installation: two hockey water pitches, 6 outdoor and two indoor tennis courts, 1 open air swimming pool, 2 pétanque lanes, 1 bridge room, 1 restaurant and 1 big terrace all around the clubhouse.


Please visit our web site www.hockeykontich.be where you will be able to found a lot of information regarding the Tournament: suggestion of hotels, participating teams, proposed events as well as a link with the site of the Man and Woman European Cup which will take place at Braxgata ( 15 minutes by car from Beerschot) during the same period. The site will continue to be updated on a regular basis.


  • Training facilities on request on Saterday August 17th, from 11:00 until 17:00
  • Welcome drink: Sunday August 18th - 18:00
  • Umpires training and briefing: Sunday August 18th - 12:00-13:00
  • Team Manager meeting: Saterday August 18th - 17:00
  • Start of matches: Sunday August 18th at 14h00
  • Tournament party: Thursday August 22nd
  • Closing Ceremony: Friday August 23rd


This event will take place at Beerschot. We will start with a drink inside the Clubhouse. Afterwards, you will enjoy an enormous “Cold Buffet” in an open tent near the tennis courts. Finally you will be able to appreciate our “DJ” who will animate the end of the Party.

Please note that you will be able, during the Tournament, to take your breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Clubhouse of Beerschot and this at a very reasonable price. The “Chef” is well-known for the good quality, so we kindly recommend you to reserve in due time.

Of course you already tasted our famous Belgian chocolates, the Belgian fries, the mussels,…

But did you already heard or tasted some Belgian cheeses affined by “Van Tricht” and some beers brewed by”Moortgat”?
They’re worldfamous and you can probably find them in your country. But have you never tried them!

You can’t leave Belgium without eating these delicious cheeses and tasting these tasty beers… so come and join us on Tuesday 20th august and you will discover some new and fantastic food and beverages of Belgium.



On request, you will have the possibility to enjoy the following activities presented by Beerschot

SWIMMING POOL : Free for all the participating teams. Swimming dress requested

TENNIS : Also free but reservation to be done one day before. Tennis shoes and white polo requested

GOLF : Your Tournament Manager (Patrick Goldberg) will arrange you several possibilities. Green fee between 50 and 70 EUR. Reservation at the beginning of the Tournament or earlier if possible.

DIAMOND CENTER ANTWERP :  Worldwide known. A visit will be organised during the Tournament. You will find more details on the site.

VISIT OF ANTWERP, BRUSSELS OR BRUGES : On request with availability of bus or shuttle with guide. Price will be in function of number of participants.

You will find on sale different kinds of clothing and other products.


We have arranged for a team of qualified physios who will be available during the tournament. Price will be communicated in function of your individual or team request.

An ice machine will be available for the physios of the teams.


On request, we can arrange for you to rent mini bus (8 persons + 1 driver). For details, please visit our site.

It’s also possible to take the public bus from downtown to Kontich (approximately 15 minutes)
